Yoga helps with low back pain

Did you know that yoga can help if you suffer from low back pain?

Come to one of our weekly yoga classes – great exercise and they can even help if you have specific health problems, such as back pain: a study published in The Annals of Internal Medicine compared the effectiveness of yoga and usual care for chronic or recurrent low back pain.  The researchers found that yoga is more effective at alleviating lower back pain than conventional medicine (156 patients with recurrent low back pain were prescribed a 12 week yoga course, and compared to a control group of 157 sufferers).
