Karen Continues Training

TSomatic Yoga x2hose of you are regulars at our classes will know that Karen has completed her Gentle Somatic Yoga Practitioner Level 1 Teacher Certification with James Knight, who travelled all the way from the United States to run the training.

Gentle Somatic Yoga incorporates slow, mindful movements that raise bodily awareness to heal persistent tension-based patterns in the body. The movements are ideal for overcoming bodily pain and increasing flexibility through the healing power of brain to muscle awareness and re-education, so you may have noticed Karen slipping some of these moves into her classes. We also run two dedicated Somatic Yoga classes (Tuesday 9.30am in Gunthorpe and Wednesday 7pm in Bingham), so if this sounds up your street, please get in touch.
